Remember a time when there were no phone apps? The iPhone was introduced in 2007 and the Android was introduced not long after and the app store launched in 2008. Since then there are millions of apps that have been developed and put in the app stores. The demand for apps has continued to grow over the years which means there are plenty of fresh opportunities for programmers and developers to break into the market.
CLOUD COMPUTING SERVICES
Cloud computing has been around since early 2000's but it has only taken off in recent years. It has transformed the way business is conducted and there has been a spike in a number cloud-based security jobs, from email security to cloud security architects who work on keeping data secure. 10 years ago there was no need for these jobs, but things have changed.
Over the last 10 years, data and statistics have exploded. In the past companies would have to manually keep records of customer activity or set up surveys, whereas now websites can track user behaviour automatically in great detail. Data scientists and analysts work with businesses to identify trends and anticipate what customers want. Big data can be used to predict future traffic demand.

One of the biggest buzzwords recently has been Artificial Intelligence (AI). Since 2002 big data and faster computing speeds have sparked an AI revolution. And today there are a number of jobs created by the AI field, some of these include AI Engineering Manager, data scientist and machine learning engineer.

Cryptocurrency has exploded over the past two years and not only has it been creating quite a buzz, it has also created loads of jobs.
