Security Consultant (Leading Consultancy)
Security Manager / Consultant is required by a leading management consultancy to join their growing team which is looking to establish themselves as the UK’s leading Security Practice. As a security consultant / manager you will work on end-to-end management of small engagements, as well as supporting larger engagements. You will be involved with the delivery of security relates assurance and advisory services to clients across a number of areas:

Security remediation, governance, management and compliance.

Data loss prevention, identity and access management, information security frameworks (i.e. ISO 27001, HMG Security Policy Framework, etc), policy and standards (HMG InfoSec Standards, policies and guidance)

Third party security assurance, public key infrastructure related assessments (such as tScheme and Webtrust)
You will also be involved with scoping, production of deliverables, project and financial management, reviewing the work of others liaising with clients on delivery, implementation and sales issues, in particular, identifying business development opportunities.
In order to be a good match for this position you must have proven experience in an information security consultancy role or an information security role in either Public Sector, Financial Services or Large cooperate organisation. You will have an understanding of a wide range of information security and IT methodologies, principles, technologies and techniques with a clear and demonstrable understanding of security, risk and IT standards, policies and frameworks. Ideally you will have a number of recognised information protection qualifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, M. Inst IISP, etc). It goes without saying, excellent communication skills both oral and verbal are essential.
